My favorite is Pandora.com. You can create free stations around a particular group. For instance, I have a Psychedelic Furs station that also includes other music of that genre.
Occasionally, it gets it wrong. I was listening to a Smithereens station one day when Bette Midler came on. Go figure.
Still, it's free and good. You do have to register your name and email address, though.
